IV sedation allows for the precise delivery of medication through an IV placed at the beginning of the appointment. IV sedation is fast-acting and can be adjusted quickly according to the patient’s needs.
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides IV sedation in our office in the presence of a dentist with a moderate sedation permit. This puts patients at ease for their dental appointments.
Once the patient is relaxed, Dr. Kristen Berning or Dr. Alexia Oetken is able to complete many dental procedures in one visit. A sedated patient will have little to no memory of his or her appointment.
