This month at Exceptional Dentistry in Dubuque, Iowa, we are excited to announce the addition of a new Dubuque dentist!
As a new Dubuque dentist, Dr. Alexia Murray is Dr. Ted Murray’s daughter and Dr. Kristen Berning’s sister. This further emphasizes the “family” in family dentistry at our Dubuque dental office! We now have three great Dubuque Dentists to provide general dentistry services to all ages of patients.
Dr. Alexia graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Alexia Murray then joined a private practice in Kansas City while her fiancee, Ryan, completed a one year general dentistry residency also in the Kansas City area.
A little more about New Dubuque Dentist Dr. Alexia Murray…
She graduated from Wahlert High School in Dubuque and excelled in the classroom and athletics. She was a varsity swimmer and state meet qualifier all 4 years. She played 4 years of varsity soccer, won the state title 2 of her years, and was a member of the Elite All State Soccer Team. She then played Division I soccer at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Alexia Murray graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics in 2013. She was one of nine graduating students in her class elected to be a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Honorary Dental Society, which honors exemplary traits of character and scholastic achievement.
We are so excited she chose Dubuque as her home again, and that she will be helping us provide top-notch dental care.
