"Took my 4 week old son to get looked at for lip and tongue ties, and the dentist was so knowledgeable about the problems she was seeing in him. All of the staff was so accommodating to us and our needs. They had a separate room to have him in that was perfect for feeding him afterwards. Very clean and nice place. Highly recommend for any tongue or lip releases."

Exceptional Dentistry is really exceptional! From the front desk (Tara, who always greets you with a smile) all the to dental experts (Carrie and Dr. Alexia who know how to take good care of me). They all make my visit easy a breeze!

I have been going to Exceptional Dentistry for as long as I can remember. The staff makes it such a calming and inviting experience. Everyone is so kind and caring, you feel like old friends. I would recommend this Dentistry to anyone and especially those that are hesitant to visit a dentist. I promise, you will feel like you belong there!
Dr Berning was great to work with. She explained everything in detail and made me feel very comfortable with leaving my 5 day old baby in her care. The lip and tongue tie release was quick and after 24 hrs we’re already seeing results.
Professional and efficient. I love that I am always greeted when entering the doors and that I know what my insurance covers when walking in. Hygienists are friendly and detailed in their cleanings.
Very kind, caring and professional staff. I also like that they will text me and offer other open appointment times when available. The atmosphere and decor of the clinic is calming and beautiful.

I am so happy with my first experience at Exceptional Dentistry. The office was beautiful and the team you have there was VERY nice and extremely professional, they treated everything like it mattered. I was impressed with the technology used in your office. I appreciated how most aspects of my consultation were explained to me. The little details mean a lot to me (water offered upon my arrival, a follow-up (hand written) card, etc…). SO happy with everything!!!
It goes without saying that many people, including myself do not really enjoy going to the dentist. I have not been very responsible with the health of my teeth over the last ten years but your team did not make me feel ashamed of that inaction but instead focused on going forward and my health now.

Eric referred you and said that you were the best in Dubuque and obviously our family wholeheartedly believe it. I hate to think about where my teeth would be in respect to losing them, or nor, if I would have stayed under the previous dentist I used. We obviously would rather you check our mouths and find nothing wrong, but that hasn't always been the case. The good thing is that we aren't scared if something shows up. We know that you'll be able to take care of any problems professionally and pain free. That says a lot for a dentist. I can't say enough about how confident Eric and I are in our smiles.
